It all started on 10th May 2009. My sister’s cat Maggie gave birth to 6 kittens. Two black, two gingers, and two tortoiseshells. I never went to see the kittens. I love cats, but I was 19 and revising for my first ever set of exams.
The tortoiseshell with a black nose and pink spots was adopted by a lady with a Persian cat. The kitten was returned. She was an antisocial kitten who did not get on with her cat. This was my chance.
This small decision has changed my life. Getting Star was the best thing I ever did. It’s unthinkable that it almost didn’t happen.
With this blog, myself and my partner, hope to share with you the ups and downs of a life with cats. Or as the cats would say, a life with humans. As every cat owner knows, nobody owns a cat.

Oh thank you, I had a super hard time with this prompt (as I have now mentioned on your blog). Glad I finally managed to incorporate a cat in some way AND not make it super depressing.

Cats move in and take over, there is no discussion about who owns who.
